Whole Lamb Share - Heritage Quality, Family Approved

Experience the difference that four generations of sheep farming expertise makes. Our registered Hampshire and Polled Dorset lambs deliver extra tender, mild-flavored meat that even picky eaters love – raised on our Mohawk Valley pastures with no hormones, just like Ashley's family has done for generations.

How it Works: We typically schedule harvest dates several times during the season once you place your order we will reach out and let you know your dates. Processing takes 4-6 weeks, after which you pay the remaining balance and pick up your lamb at our farm. We handle all coordination with the processor – you just choose your cuts and collect your premium lamb.

Traditional Methods - Quality Meats

Every animal on our farm has to pass the ultimate test: being good enough for our own dinner table. Our heritage breeds live with year-round outdoor access, rotational grazing, and stress-free environments that allow them to develop the natural marbling and complex flavors that made pork and lamb special for generations. This isn't just farming - it's how we feed our family.

Two Farmers, Four Generations, One Standard

We're Ashley and Adam McFarland, and we believe great food creates great memories. Between Ashley's generational sheep farming background and Adam's commercial pig expertise, we know what it takes to raise animals right. More importantly, as parents of two little boys, we know what it's like to need dinner solutions that are both delicious and doable.

What Our Customers Are Saying

Let's hear what some of them have to say.

"We've never been lamb people, but decided to try the 15lb lamb box. I cannot believe how tender and mild this meat is! No gamey taste at all. My kids actually asked for more, which never happens with new foods. Already ordered a whole lamb for Easter dinner."

Karen S. (Utica, NY)

"Skeptical about the price at first, but after trying Top Notch pork, I can't go back to store-bought. The quality is outstanding and Ashley's recipe suggestions made it so easy to prepare. My family has never been happier with our meals. This is real food from real farmers."

Jennifer L. (Rochester, NY)

"Been ordering from Top Notch for six months now - both pork and lamb. Every single order has been perfect. You can taste the difference that heritage genetics and proper care make. Plus Ashley and Adam are just genuinely nice people who clearly care about what they're doing. Highly recommend!"

Tom R. (Johnstown, NY)
